It also does a good job of cleaning embedded dirt from mid-pile carpet. The IQ's compact footprint for docks and the self-emptying feature are nice touches. If you want to change the floor levels or set zones that aren't allowed, automatic Vacuum cleaner robot you'll have to manually reset the map.

The IQ's app comes with advanced mapping and automation capabilities however, it's not able to access no-go zones that are available on iRobot models. Its intelligent-pathing navigational system gives you superior maneuverability and its high-pile carpet cleaning mode cleans well, but it is prone to get caught up in rug tassels, and its iHome speaker lets you control the robot using voice commands.

During our tests, we discovered that the IQ was able to handle pet hair effectively. It was able to remove a large amount of debris on floors that were not bare and a good amount on medium-pile rug. It was less efficient with shag carpets, where it struggled to get at dirt and dust embedded within the fibers. It was capable of navigating the legs of chairs, tight spaces, and the base of a wooden IKEA step stool. The eufy11S did well in our tests to remove larger debris and fine dust from flooring. However, it was unable to give medium and high pile carpets a thorough clean. The device has a tendency to hit people and furniture in its route. However, it is able detect obstacles using sensors. When it comes across them, it halts and emits an alarm so that you can manually steer it around the obstacle and get back to work.

The BoostIQ mode is a great feature of the eufy11S. It allows you to set up the robot to automatically adjust suction strength based on the type of floor and the amount of mess. It's also simple to use the remote to direct the 11S where you'd like it to move.
