However, if you wish to alter the floor level on the map or set no-go zones you'll have to manually reset it to do this, which can be somewhat of an inconvenience.

The IQ's app comes with advanced mapping and automation capabilities however, it's not able to access no-go zones, which are available on iRobot models. Its intelligent-pathing navigational system results in greater maneuverability and its high-pile carpet mode is clean well, although it is prone to get caught up on rug tassels. Its iHome speaker allows you to control the robot using voice commands.

In our tests, we found that the IQ was able to handle pet hair effectively. It was able to get rid of a large amount of debris on floors that were unfinished and a good amount of rug with a medium pile. It was less effective on shag carpet, which was a struggle to reach dirt and dust buried in the fibers. It did a decent job of maneuvering around chair legs, tight spaces, and the bottom of an wooden IKEA step stool. It was a bit slower on floors that were not paved but it was able to recover speed and did better than other robots we have tested.

The IQ is a better choice for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin and lasts longer on charge and does a better job of moving itself around obstacles. It also has a mopping attachment that can handle sticky debris. The iRobot however, is more sturdy and has fewer parts that need maintenance or replacement, incurs less ongoing costs, and can even create virtual no-go zones using its companion application. It can even resume the cleaning process from the point it started if it has run out of battery before finishing the job. The iRobot can also be controlled with voice, which can be an enormous benefit for many users.

The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum available, but it does offer powerful cleaning capabilities at a low price.
