It is, however, an excellent stroller, and one of our top choices for families who require something that will get them through the day and even occasional adventures. It has a wide footrest and is cushioned, which means that little ones will be comfortable. The seat reclines fairly flat however, it took us two hands to achieve. The adjustable support for the calf is an excellent feature that will allow your child to lift their feet when they're tired.

As with many of the strollers on our list like the City Mini, the City Mini has a huge canopy that is UV50 and which parents rave about. The sun shade is elegantly designed and pulls all the way down, which is great because it will keep your child safe from sun without having to constantly tuck it back into place.

The City Mini can be easily converted into a double-stroller by attaching an additional kit. This gives you the option of using any Baby Jogger car seat and creating an entire travel system from the start. The only downside is the fact that adding a second seat to the stroller alters its appearance and feel. Some parents may be unable to handle this once they become accustomed to it.

Another alternative to the City Mini is the City Mini GT Double Stroller. It is a bit more expensive than the single City Mini, but it has additional features, including "forever-air" rubber tyres. It also comes with suspension that is suitable for off-road adventures.
